Our COVID-19 Precautions

Updated: Jul 29, 2020

Right now it seems a person can hardly have a conversation without the mention of Covid-19. It is a very important topic and very prevalent in our lives today. As people start to resume everyday activities, we want to make sure that you feel safe and at ease with returning to your regular oral health care routine. Due to our already strict guidelines and regulations pre Covid, and the additional measures we are now taking as a profession, the dental office is actually one of the safest places to be in our opinion. Let us tell you what we are doing to keep you safe when you come to see us:

  1. Our team is screened everyday upon arrival to work to ensure no one is exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19.

  2. Prior to your appointment, you will receive a phone call from Dr. Denysenko to screen you for any symptoms or risks of Covid-19. You will also be screened a second time upon arrival for your appointment.

  3. Our office is open by appointment only, so only patients and team members who have been screened are able to enter the building.

  4. All infection control and prevention procedures are performed, along with additional PPE such as gowns, surgical caps and face shields being worn to protect both you and us.

  5. Our operatories are private, closed door rooms which minimizes the risk of any airborne cross contamination.

Rest assured, your health is our top priority and we will take any and all precautions necessary to ensure your safety.

Some things you can do to help:

  1. Call us to reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms or have any suspicions of exposure to Covid-19.

  2. Please come to your appointment alone if possible. If you must bring someone with you, please let us know over the phone when we call to screen you. Parents are of course welcome to accompany your child to their appointment, however we ask that you do not bring any children with you to your own appointment if possible.

  3. Use our virtual waiting room feature when you arrive for your appointment. You will receive a text asking you to please respond when you have arrived in the parking lot. We will let you know when we are ready for you and it is time to enter the building.

  4. If you have a mask, wear it to your appointment.

  5. Disinfect your hands with the sanitizer we have provided at our front desk.

If you have questions or concerns about your oral health but do not feel comfortable coming into the office because of Covid-19, request a free Virtual Consultation! For more information please visit our website here.

As always, our patients are the most important thing to us, so if you are feeling at all nervous or if there is anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable at your visit, do not hesitate to let us know!!
